Dan also teaches two Master's program courses in Madrid & Prague focusing on Change Management & Innovative Practices in Education. He has been working internationally as a teacher/administrator for over 20 years and was named as a NAESP Distinguished Principal in 2021.

Dan Kerr currently is the Lower School Director at the American School of Paris. His career experiences includes 3 years as an Intermediate School Principal in Quito, Ecuador, 4 years as a Middle School Principal in Shanghai, China, 7 years working at the International School in Jakarta, Indonesia and at the very beginning of his 20 plus year international teaching/administrative career he resided in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This impressive track record and commitment to teaching led to Dan being named the NAESP Distinguished Principal in 2021.

Outside of teachings in grade school, Dan has also spent time as an Adjunct Professor for Endicott College in Madrid and Prague teaching 2 Master’s Degree classes. The life and career experiences Dan gained in this time has paved the way for his blog page Monday Musings and his featured blogging for The International Educator. 

Dan’s blogging has given him a platform to share ideas and issues with educational leaders around the globe, while also staying current and gaining valuable feedback on how to turn a school from good to great.
