“I must have more to offer the world than this,” the words Nate Leslie, founder of Leslie Leadership, said to himself as a benched professional hockey player. He was sitting in a stadium with thousands of cheering fans — yet feeling unfulfilled in life.

Nate is a professional hockey player turned leadership coach, now with 30 years spent in high-performance environments. His experiences living and traveling around the world, along with his Masters in International Education, bring a global perspective to our coaching practice. He speaks English, German, Swiss German, and French — and his Spanish gets him by in a pinch. He’s watched the sun set on Mount Everest, run out of oxygen while scuba diving more than once, slept in an active volcano, and forgotten all the lyrics to a song in his first official gig on stage. He’s the father of two kids who he and his wife Tara cherish raising in Vancouver’s West End. When not in service to others, Nate can be found on his guitar at his cabin on the Sunshine Coast.
